At Alashan we are proud to create sustainable and luxurious cashmere with the environment always in mind.

Our knitting partner has earned The Good Cashmere Standard, which is an independent standard for sustainable cashmere. Developed by the Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF), the standard that aims to improve the animal welfare of cashmere goats, the lives of farmers, and the environment in which they live.

We worked with them to achieve the Bluesign Certification because we aim to continuously improve our environmental performance through sustainable practices.

Our factories are WRAP certified(Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) and are socially responsible.

We are Amfori certified, a standard that tracks worker protection and involvement.

Our factories meet SMETA ethical trade standards. We are also RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified.
